Becky, our Advanced Nurse Practitioner, is incredibly gentle and experienced with nervous patients. She’ll talk you through exactly what’s happening at every step, go at your pace, and make the whole experience as calm and comfortable as possible. Many of our clients who were dreading it have told us afterwards it was nothing like they expected. 

You don’t have to watch, most people look the other way and that’s completely fine. The draw itself takes just a few seconds, and Becky will keep you talking so you barely notice. If you’re feeling anxious beforehand, just let us know when you arrive and we’ll make sure you’re settled before we start.

GP blood tests are usually triggered by a specific symptom or concern, and they’re limited to what’s clinically justified at that moment. Our panels are proactive and comprehensive, we test for things like vitamin D, B12, ferritin, inflammation markers, and full thyroid function that GPs won’t routinely check unless you’re already unwell.
